Heniger Park Reassessment Committee
Meeting Minutes
March 21, 2013
1. CALL TO ORDER: The committee was called to order at 7:00 PM.
2. ATTENDANCE: Members present were, BOS, Hal Ferguson, Rick Micklon and Lenny Adler. The additional community members include Karen Turino, Judy Hall, Craig Turner and Anne Pastore. Absent was Administrative Assistant Marianne Izzo-Morin community member Kyle Jordan and Recording Secretary Tanya Taft.
3. SECRETARY’S REPORT:
A. Meeting Minutes from February 23, 2013. *Motion to accept minutes.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
A. HF spoke with Geoff Hole the Town Attorney about the Heniger Park Will and sent him a copy to review. He has passed the deed on to the Estate Department to get their input as to the current status of the deeded property. HF also met with John Odonells’ Asessing Office to look at the properties to see what the assessed value would be if they were located outside Heniger Park. This analysis included eleven parcels of property, excluding buildings, within Heniger Park. The seven lake front properties ranged from $206,783 to $248,900, while the back lots ranged from $44,340 to $45,900.
It was suggested getting in touch with local realtors for a fair market and a lease value. Four realtors were suggested. Karen Turino and Craig Turner will get in touch with the realtors and report back to the committee.
HF will contact Geoff Hole to follow up and to see if he knows of any other towns with similar leases like our town has.

A. Heniger Park Reassessment Committee Meeting, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Annex.
7. ADJOURNMENT: With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM.
